The seal to ensure tightness above and below the shutter, having a movable overlapping locking element 1 inside the tubular body 2, contains a round circular static sealing element 3, located between the flange 4 and the housing 2. Element 5 has an internal socket in which an elastically deformable annular beam 9 is installed in the shell 10. The annular beam 9 is made in the form of a coil spring of an annular shape. In the described example, the sealing elements 3 and 5 are made in the form of a single part, for example, a metal one, forming in its middle part an elastically deformable radial sealing membrane 16, which allows, on the one hand, to ensure the continuity of the seal between the two elements 3 and 5 and, on the other hand, play the role of an elastic element, providing the flexibility of self-centering of the element 5.
The core of the membrane 16 has a round bend 17, giving it elastic radial deformability.
The feedback ring 18 can be made of various materials and in this example it is made in the form of a spiral tape (Fig, 2).
The seal assembly is placed (as shown in Fig. 1) in a radial annular cavity 19 formed between the side surface 20 of the valve body 2 and a flange 4 fixed to the specified side surface 20 by means of a clamping screw 21. The cavity 19 extends into the inner chamber 22 shutter, inside which the locking body can move. For example, the shutter (locking element) may be a lamb that can rotate inside the housing 2 and move axially at the end of the closing stroke. The annular cavity 19 has a rectangular cross-section, the width of which is equal to the width of the sealing shell 9 of the element 5. The upper side 24 and the bottom 25 of this cavity are formed by tiered bored surfaces - holes of the flange 4. An annular groove 26 is provided in the bottom of the cavity 19.
In this annular groove 25, a static seal member is clamped. It should be noted that the installation of the latter is carried out at the time of installation of the flange 4, while the sealing pressure is achieved, for example, by clamping the flange 4 on the valve body 2.
On the lower side surface 20 of the annular cavity, a circular recess 27 of rectangular cross section is made, in which the fold 17 of the sealing membrane 16 is located.
The element 5, which serves to achieve dynamic sealing, has a large diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the housing 2, but at the level of the average diameter of the sealing surface 28 of the locking member 1, so that this element 5 protrudes somewhat inside the inner chamber 22, a, in the closed position , the sealing surface 11 of the shell 9 and the beam are compressed between the feedback ring 18 and the surface 28 of the organ 1, i.e. self-centering of the element 5 around the surface 28 during closure is carried out while guaranteeing a uniform seal pressure at the level of the contacting surfaces of these two elements.
The seal shown in FIG. 3 has a structure similar to the above structure.
However, in this case, the beam formed by the annular spring 9 and the feedback ring 18 are placed in the shell 29, the outer surface of which is made to cover the internal shape of the sealing shell 11, while a set of these elements is tightly placed in this sealing shell 11. 1.
